SOME BIG PRICES. 'By Telegraph.—Prees Association.) Wanganui, April 21. One of Hie largest dispersal j-ales ever held in :\~cw Zealand comuienccd at "\Vanganui to-day when Mr. Frank Moore, of Bushy .Farm, Kai-iwi, offered ut miction his famous herd of 300 stud and 120 grado Hereford cattle. Buyers from Australia find from nil parts of New Zealand, including Tnranaki, Wairarapa, Ilawko s Bay, Marlborough, and Auckland were in attendance to-day, when 150 pedigree cows and calves wero disposed of. Bidding was spirited and prices ranged from 20 guineas to 120 guineas. The Ensign cow Lconore 58th, brought tho top price, being knocked down to Mr. 11. M. Campbell, M.l\, at 120 guineas. ■Tho.sale continues to-morrow when ten pedigree sires, including the imported bulls Ensign and Colonist, and the remainder of tho herd will be offered.
