SYDNEY'S RECOGNITION. j lit Telegraph—Prees Association—Oopjrlffht (Rec. April 23, 11.25 p.m.) Sydney, April 23. Tho anniversary of the death of Shakespearo was celebrated in tho schools today, leading actors and teachers giving short addresses, explanatory of Shakespearo's life and works. A number of entertainments and picture show displays wera also given, and tho proceeds from these are to bo devoted to thp proposed Shakespearean memorial.
