FEATHERSTON ITEMS.
. The annual meeting of the Featlierston branch of the Farnvrrs' I'ninn was held on Monday evening, Mr. 0. Yule presiding. Tlie report was read li.v Mr. D. Tlcbi'ntou (organiser), and showed that the numerical .strength of ihe branch was about forty members. It was decided to forward as (i remit to the Provincial Confert'lice"That the liailivay Department lis requested tu provide- better means of transport of dairy produce to the ports of shipment." Messrs. A. Clark, Or. 11. Cbilyer, 0. Donald, It. Yule, A. Tait, and AY. (.!. llodder wero elected a local committer, ami Messrs. Q. Donald and A. Clark were Appointed delegates to .the Central Executive for the district. At the conclusion of tho business, Mr. A. 11. Cockayne, Government Biologist, delivered an interesting lecture 011 'and pastures.
