At a sitting of the Parliamentary Select Committee appointed to .inquire into the nature of the Marconi wireless contract with the British Post Office, Mr. Rose, the Poulsen Company's solicitor, flatly denied Mr. Godfroy Isaac's suggestions that Poulsen's had engineered a press campaign against the Marconi system, and Cabinet Ministers.
Mr. Rose denied every statement by Mr. Godfrey Isaacs regarding the alleged press' 9ampaign by Poulsens. He a'dded that Major Archer She© (Unionist M.P. for Finsbury Central), whom it was alleged was associated with tho Poulsen Syndicate in endeavouring to prevent ratification of tho contract between tho Post Office and the Marconi Company, had refused any financial interest in the company. He was merely told tho facts regarding the Poulsen system.
