[Specially Written for The Dominion.] WEDNESDAY. Rice soup. Grilled cliuji*. I'otato chips. Tomatoes. Stewed pear*. Safe pudding. Cream. RICE SOUP. Quarter pound rice, three pints stock (white), one piut milk, one ounce and a quarter butter, half , a small turnip or parsnip, oile ls.rge onion, one patiito, one stalk celery, one teaspoon salt, small bit of lemon peel. Let the butter melt in .'t saucepan, put in the well-washed rice and tlio sliced babies, let them cook a few minutes, but don't brown them I'our on the stock, add lemon peel, and boil lor an hour. Put through' a sieve, add nnlk, returnjto pot, nnd simmer for n few minutes. Smv with sippets of friend bread. FOR TO-JIORROW. Barley, stock, shoulder of mutton, suet, breadcrumbs, treacle or golden syrup. Defiance Buttor. All Grocers.*
