CANDIDATES MEETINGS.
Mr. J. P. Luke, who is a candidate for tho City Mayoralty, will'address tho electors as follows To-night, April 22, St. Hilda's Churchroom, Island Bay; Wednesday, April 23, Churchroom, Moxham Avenue, lulbirnie; Thursday, April 24, Churchroom, Kelburne. All meetings commence at 8 o'clock. Mrs. J. I\ Luke will be pleased to meet the ladies of Hataitai and Kilbirnie, in favour of Mr. Luke's candidature, at tho Bowling Green Pavilion, at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, next. This evening tho following candidates will speak at 8 o'clock:—At Kelburne, Messrs. Wright and Thompson. At Northland—Messrs. Buddie, M'Kenzie, and Luckie. ill'. W. Perry will address the electors at the Kiosk, Oriental Bay, To-night at 8 o'clock. Mr. I". Holdsworth (Mayor of Onslow) calls meetings of tho ratepayers in the Ngnio, Khandiillah, and North-Western Kaiwarra Wards. The first meeting will bo held in tho Khundallah Public Hall, M'Kenzio Eoad, Khandallah at 8 o'clock this evening. The second will be held in tho Methodist Churchroom, Main Eoad, Ngaio, on Thursday, April 21, commencing at S p.m.
