Renter's Agency states that the Fourth National Bank of New Tort has filed pro-c-eedings against the firm of Joseph Martin, thtf American, who disappeared in London, on a charge of forging security • for twenty-five thousand dollars (JC5000). (Rec. April 20, 5.5 p.m.) London, April 19. Mr. Martin's friends have received a telegram from Switzerland to tho following effect: "Cease inquiries; all well; writing."
