The club has been inactive for some years, and last, nighf 9 meeting was the result .of a' move by Mr. T. Mr. T. M. -Wilted, M.P., presided over an attendance of between twenty and thirty. Several, apologies for absence, were received; , i ' ;'.-.On the motion of the chairman.it was Resolved: "That ft was advisable.' to reorganise the Wellington Automobile Club, with a view to making it an nctive body, and of interest to motorists." ' The resignation of Mr.iC.M. Banks, hon. secretary, wns accepted with regret, and it whs decided to appoint a paid secretary. . .-' The.chairman, and Messrs. C. H. Izard, T. Young, and C. M.
