- f --■ The Wellington Amateur Sports Fed- ; eration has decided to hold a saioko concert on Wednesday, April 23, at which Mr. C. F. Skcrrett (president) will occupy the chair. A novel departure is to be niado in lieu of the usual toast and song programme, common to most smoke-con-certs, and it is one which should, bo appreciated by those having nn interest' in. the city's affairs. The executive is ask- , ing several of the aspirants for civic hpn- ; .mrs to give brief speeches, embodying ' their views on questions affecting the ' sports hodios of the city.
