A Wangamii resident, suffering from consumption, has been in communication with Dr. Fi'iedmann respecting tho latter's treatment, and has arranged with tho German specialist to go to Berlin to he treated there. Tho latter has communicated with the Chief Health Officer on the matter, asking him to arrange that no difficulties be-put in tho way of the patient in regard to travelling ond landing at ports en route. Dr. Valintino lias replied recognising tho value of the venture as a demonstration for tho benefit of other New Zealand patients, and stating that if certain pro- . cautions aro taken, no difficulty will be put in tho way of tho patient's journey to Berlin,
