MOTOR-CYCLING SPORTS.
Entries received for tho motor-cycling sports at Trentham 011 Saturday next total 123, a much greater number than was expected by tho committee. Tho programme, which should bo a very good one, will consist of two championships and seven other events. Tho Fifth llogimont Band will be in attendance. Seamen from tho battle-cruiser New Zealand will attend to tho number of 230. They are to bo taken out by a spccinl train in tho forenoon. Between tho motorcycling events tho sailors aro to engage in foot-races and other athletic events. Special trains Icavo Lambton Station for Trentham on Saturday at 11.5 a.m., 12.15 p.m., 12.21 p.m., 1.12 p.m., and 1.20 p.m.
