Arising out of the disappearance of Mr. Joseph Martin, said to he an American millionaire, a petition has been filed with tho object of protecting his firm during Martin's absence. The assets of the firm total 430,140 dollars and tho liabilities £03,163 dollars. , Router states that Martin's firm has filed a petition in bankruptcy in Tennessee. " Scotland lard has received information that Martin is alive. He lias been traced to a South London suburb.
