ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
DROWNED IN BATHS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Now Plymouth, April 15. ■ Mrs. C. W. Delaunay, of Eltham, about 30 years of age, was drowned in the municipal saltwater baths this morning. She lias been in the habit of taking hot saltwater baths, but this morning the hot bath was not available when she attended. Shortly afterwards the caretaker found,her in the swimming bath, quite dead. It is presumed she had a seizure of some kind and fell in tho water. DROWNED OFF A FISHING BOAT. Auckland, April 15. A man named Lewis was lost off a fishing boat in the gulf last night. He overi balanced when pulling in a dinghy, and nsho was wearing heavy boots he prcsumabiy sank like a stone.. Tho deceased, was' about thirty. It is understood that he recently came from tho Gisborno district. WHARF WORKER HURT. Philip Shannon, a wharf labourer, who resides in Taranaki Street, was struck by a vehicle 'near the General Post Office yesterday. He received injuries to his ribs and a dislocated collar-bone. He was taken to the public hospital. CRUSHED - FOOT. Peter T. Atkin, married, and living at Ngaio, was admited to the hospital yesterday afternoon suffering from a crush-' ed foot, tho result of an accident. "Remember you may meet with an accident any day.
