"MISREPRESENTATION EXPOSED."
Sir,—ln this morning's issuo of (Tin: Dominion appears a letter by Mr. 11. J. Garland, under tho above heading. In reply, 1 have to tell Mr. Garland that as far as I am concerned there is no misrepresentation, and, consequently, nothing to expose. I am speaking from experience, and in tho interest of truth and justice. I presented your readers with facts, and am prepared to substantiate tho statements 1 mado iu my letter on tho Bible-in-Schools. Mr. Garland will have to bo older and mo'ro exjjerienced before he can "sheet home" anything to me. I shall make him a present of the fifteen years referred to in his letter. He should note that I specified no particular timo or period of time. I 'don t care to waste any further timo in replying to Mr. Garland. I. can oilly say in conclusion that as far as I can see. his mission is a failure, and justly so. What right has he, a stranger, to come here and interfere with our system of education, which is doing as good \vork and giving as good results as circumstances will allow?—I am, etc., E.D.
