BUTTER IN COOL STOKE.
QUANTITY HEAVIER THAN LAST YEAE. The heavy exports. of butter having ceased, and. the produce having commenced to go in to cool stores of late, considerable interest attaches to the first official storago figures which wero issued .yesterday under the authority of the Dairy Division of the Department of Agriculture. These figures, which givo the quantity of butter in cool stores at the various ports throughout the Dominion as at April 15, show a total of 51,536 boxes, as ngaiiist 47,036 boxes at; April 15 last year. Details of the quantity at each port arc:— boxes.
