DESERTION AT SYDNEY. Br Telegraph.—Press Association—Copyright > London, April 13. -James, Kelly, a fireman, for deserting from tho steamer Tropic at Sydney, was ordered by the Court to forfeit .£97 10s. wages due, and pay the White Star Company <£100 for loss occasioned in engaging a substitute.
