The following wire was received by tho 6ecretary on Saturday from tho mine manacer:—"Grab samples of stone in paddock mined during my absence, loz. 12dwt. 16cr.; general bulk Eajnpleis at 90ft., 6oz. lOdwt. 16gr.; ditto -at 92ft., 507,. sd\vt. 22gr; progress slow; report follows: assayed at School of Mines."
