Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their weekly stock sale nt Dan no* virke on Friday, when they offered 160 head of cattle and 1000 6heep to a large attendance of the public. Bidding Tor dattlo was very dull, especially for cight-.een-months Up to tlriee-yoar steers. Sheep sold well above last week's rates. They quote as follows:—Cull Inmtei, 3s. 6d. to 65.; fair woolly lambs, Es. 6d.; fat and forward two and four-tooth wethers, 13s. lOd. to 14s. 4d.; six-tooth to four-year ewes, Us. 10d.; 14:-. lid.; fat cows, £1 16s. to £5 195.; two end a half-year wellbred steers, £5. Williams and Kettle, Ltd., report holding their usunl weekly Sale at the Association's yards, DaUncvirke, on Saturday) when they offered a fair yarding of sheep to a good attendance of buyers.
