There will then, be 5100 men out, and only three mines will bo working. An effort to uso bullock and horse teams ior tho conveyance of provisions from Coekburn failed. Camels will be tried next. The Barrier Labour Federation resolved to telegraph to the tramway directors asking whether tho latter would agrco to the Federation's terms. It was agreed that, failing a. reply, tha dispute bo referred lo the Industrial Board, "the men to remain out until the board's decision was mads known. Although nothing official has transpired,' it is believed the company's reply to tho first part of tho question was an emphatic negative.
