The arrest of the maid-servant Heinriohs in connection with the alleged murder of a schoolboy named Tieman, at first supposed to have committed suicide, has been followed-by a remarkable sequel. The detective, suspecting tho girl, had gained her affection, and sho confessed to , him that tho boy had surprised her lover in tho act of robbing his mother's flat, and that hor lover had strangled tho lad and suspended the body from a cur-tain-pole. . Tho cross-examination of Heinrichs has now Tovealed tho fact that she duped Schwarz and concocted tho story in order to avoid losing his love. ' 1 • Proceedings against Schwarz are threatened.
