A deputation of citizens, hcailcd by Mr. Ryan, leader of the Parliamentary Labour party, complained to the Home. Secretary, Mr. J. G. Appel, tliat the Tramway Company,was boycotting tlio Labour, paper, that newsboys had been chased oft' the cars and that dealers and buyers-of tho paper had been prevented from entering the trams.' It is t'urthor,alleged that passengers reading tho paper''have been interfered with, and that'other'papers have been, carried and delivered ' tlio trams. Mr. Appel, on. tho strength of tho Crown solicitor's opinion, stated-that tlio company was within its rights in refusing to carry tho Labour paper, but proposed to make inquiry. . Tho Labour party threatens Btrong measures. " ' —
