His condition is unchanged. He refused nourishment for three days, but now promises to obey the doctors. RESOLUTION CABLED HOME. (By Telegraph— Prese Association.) Napier, April It. The illness of his Holiness tho l'opo was referred to in sympathetic terms at tlio meeting of the Avstralasian Catholic Benefit Society to-day. The following resolution was also carried unanimously :— "The H.A.C.8.5., representing over 3000 members, sitting at Napier, tender respectful homago to his Holiness the Pope, and thank him for his apostolic benediction, and assure hi'.r. of our prayers." The foregoing was cabled Homo this morning.
