AUCTIONS. WONDERFUL SHOW RECORD Of Mr. Frank Mooro'a BUSHY PARK STUD HEREFORDS, Which are to bo sold ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT RESERVE At Freemaji R. Jackson and Co.'s Yards, i Wanganui. On THURSDAY and FRIDAY, 24th and 25th APRIL, 1913. BETWEEN November, 1905, and March, 1913, they secured in the Stud Classes no fewer than 49 CHAMPIONSHIPS; 112 FIRST PRIZES; 5G SECONDS; and 25 THIRDS. In the Fat Classes they were awarded: 238 FIRST PRIZES; 153 SECONDS, and 61 THIRDS. The folio-ring are a few of the Trophies won by these Fine Cattle: — Manawa Bowl, twenty guineas, won outright. Most points in Fat Cattle at Masterton, twine. Special at Hawera for -Yearling Stud Hereford Bull. Mr. S. Cundy's Sterling Silver Cup at Wanganui for points in Fat Cattle. Slessrs. Harraud ,and Abraham's Trophy, JilO IDs., most points in Fat Cattle at ManawEitu, won outright repeatedly. ChainpioE. Prize, for best Fat Ox, any age or breed, at Sydney, 1909.. Tho same bullock also won. First Prize for Hereford Fat Ox—any age—and tho Championship for heaviest Ox on the Show Grounds. He was only six years old. Another Bullock bred by Mr. Moore, now seven years old, was exhibited by Mr. F. W. Fairey at Sydney Royal Show, 1913, just held. He scored First Prize for Best Hereford Bullock..on the ground. This animal has now been shown twenty-seven times. He has taken twenty-two Firsts, two Seconds, and was once unplaced. He has won .£65 10s. in prize-money, and was sold in Sydney only a few days ago for In February, 1913—the warmest time of the year—six Bullocks sold at Public Auction on the Show Ground at Masterton by Mr. Frank Moore realised .£l2l. Had they been submitted'in Winter it is safe to say they would have brought muoh more. Surely this is a record for New Zealand! A steer shown by Mr. Moore won outright a piece of Silver.
