A meeting of the association was held last night, but nothuij? was divulged after it rose as tp whfil the Association Meant to do about filing the vacancies. It is rumoured that tho ticket may be considerably changed. Tho Labour party candidates who aro standing for eledion to tho City Council and other local bodies will open their ' campaign 011 Satuiday night, wliou streetcorner meetings will bo held at New(own, Courtcnay PUcc, Disou Street, and Boulcott Street. ■ During nes.t week mass meetings of. tho candidates will bo held as follow:—Monday, Kilbirnie Hall; Tuesday, Town 11-all, Island Bay; Thursday. Fullford's Hall, Brooklyn. On tho following Saturday the labour candidates will again speak at the .various street corners. Midday speeches wjll be delivered by tho candidates in Post Ollicu'Square right through the week, ; ■
