By the over-turning of a molor-car in the New Forest, near Burley, two persons wero hilled on February 10. The motorear was, being driven bv the owner, Mr. Joseph Swyne, aged sixty-five years, of Bracken Road, Bournemouth, and with him were his wife, Mrs. Wentworth Malm, tho wife of a Bournemouth solicitor, and. a chauffeur named Lee. On , reaching t'ho top of a hill near Burley tho car skidded, ran on to the grass ul tho road side, and overturned, throwing out the occupants. Mr. Swayne and .Mrs. Jlalin were badly injured, and died ill a short while. Mr. Swayne, who was the son of ])r. Swnyne, a Bristol physician, at one time held a Government appointment in British Honduras, where his cousin, Brigadier-General Sir Eric Swayne, C.8., is Governor. Honours are equal between the Rudgc and Bradbury. At tho Southern Huwkc's Hay Cycle Club Reliability Trial on Easter Monday, the reliable "liudge' and the trustworthy "Bradbury" tied for first place. Thus once again these two wellknown machines hove proved their reliability against all-comers.
