General Yuan-Shih-Kai, in his message to Parliament, said ho hoped the Republic would endure for ten thousand years. RECOGNITION DEFERRED. (Reo. April 9, 9.35 p.m.) New York, April 9, Tho United States has decided to defer recognition of the Chinoso Republic until tho Constitutional Assembly has been fully organised.
