HEMP AND TOW RETURNS.

THE..YEAR'S'AND MARCH GRADING, Returns compiled by the Fields and ■ Experiments' Division of tho Department of Agriculture, showing the quantities of ' hemp,"..tow,' and stripper slips graded at the ports of tho Dominion during March and'-for., the'year, show that the iotal ' number of,bales of hemp graded was 17,553 ■ as compared with 93-13 for the corresponding month' of last year, an increase of 8210 bales. For tho twelvo months enitiug March 31, 1913, tho number ol' bale's graded was 120,532, as compared with 85.G81; for the previous twelve months, tlio increase being 31,858 bales.
