RED POTTAGE SOUP. •Jib. haricot beans, i tomatoes, 1 beetroot, 1 small piece celery, 1 onion, pepper and salt, loz. dripping, 3 pints stock or water. Soak tlio beans over-niglit (if dried), wash, peel, and slice the vegetables, melt' tho dripping, and loss the vegetables and beiins in it; add the liquid and seasonings, and boil gently from II to 1 hours, ltemoru the beetroot, and then pass the rest through a sieve; re-heat and serve. \ FOR TO-MQRKOW. Stock. Artichokes. Leg of mutton. Apples. White breadcrumbs. Defiance Butter. All Grocers.*
