ZEPPELIN SECRETS.
GERMANS ANNOYED,
ALLEGED INSPECTION BY THE ' FRENCH. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Berlin, April G. The press is greatly chagrined over the Luneville episode. The "Berliner Tageblatt" says tho most disagreeable revelation in eonncetion with the accidental descent of tho Zeppelin on tho parade ground at • Luneville is that tho fair weather qualities of dirigibles are no longer in doubt. Tho wind drove tho Zeppelin across- the frontier against tho pilot's will. The "Taglicho Rundschau" declares that 1' ranco might as well keep the vessel as a model. It regrets that tho officers failed to blow, up tho airship before landing. Tho newspapers publish conflicting stories as to the extent of the inspection of tho airship by the French. The accounts range from a mero polico visit to an exhaustive expert investigation. Tho "Ldkal Anzeiger" alleges that tho airship , was fired on when at an altitude of a thousand yards, and that only, tho firmness of the French troops prevented the mob from wrecking it. Some of tho papers demand a courtmartial.. Tho German Government has thanked France for her courtesy towards thoso on tho airship. TAKEN TO FRONTIER BY CIVILIANS Paris, April G. .The Zeppelin was restarted in chargo of civiliau mechanics, while the officers were escorted to the frontier in a motorcar. Ihe Customs duty on the airship, i 2300, has been refunded. /BRITISH INSPECTION REPORTED. •mu . „ London, April 6.
