Messrs. Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., Dannevirke, report having held their weekly stock sale at Dannevirke on Friday, when they ottered a fair yarding of sheep and cattlo to a largo attendance of the public. Prices for sheep were abovo last week's pricciS; fat cattle were about the same na late rates. Oul-l lauibis, 3s. Gd. to <e. Cd.; shorn lambs. 75.; fat and forward woolly lambs, 10s. yd.; medium woolly Jamba, 6s. to 7s. Id.; two-tooth wethers, 125.; cull ewes, ss. 4d.; falling-mouth ewes, 75.; twotooth ewes, 10a.; lour and six-tooth cull ewes, 9s. 3d. to 10s. id.; four and six-tooth ewes, good line, 13s. (Palmerston North), report having a very good yarding of both sheep and cattle at. their Feilding sale oil Friday, all of which met with a keen demand, and prices showed an increase all round.
