Messrs. Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., Dannevirke, report having held their weekly stock sale at Dannevirke on Friday, when they ottered a fair yarding of sheep and cattlo to a largo attendance of the public. Prices for sheep were abovo last week's pricciS; fat cattle were about the same na late rates. Oul-l lauibis, 3s. Gd. to <e. Cd.; shorn lambs. 75.; fat and forward woolly lambs, 10s. yd.; medium woolly Jamba, 6s. to 7s. Id.; two-tooth wethers, 125.; cull ewes, ss. 4d.; falling-mouth ewes, 75.; twotooth ewes, 10a.; lour and six-tooth cull ewes, 9s. 3d. to 10s. id.; four and six-tooth ewes, good line, 13s. (Palmerston North), report having a very good yarding of both sheep and cattle at. their Feilding sale oil Friday, all of which met with a keen demand, and prices showed an increase all round. April 1. at Stratford, for mv fortnightly cattle sale I had ail entry of BCO head of cattlo and 2300 sheep. Some very nice peus of forward and fat cows and weaners were yarded. Competition from the outset was good, and improved further during the sale, keen bidding being obtained for most lines, a very satisfactory clearance resulting.
