— 4 i A • young man, clad in very scanty raiment, aroused tlio curiosity of two citizens as bo dashed along Latnbton Quay | during thoivcry bleak weather early this ! morning. Desirous of ascertaining tlio cause (or tlio man's strange behaviour, they followed in pursuit, nnd ultimately came up with tlio very shivery-looking , mortal in Featherstou Street. His greeting in nautical phraseology and pronounced lack of wearing apparel wero sufficient to bliow that he was in a stato of dementia, so a constable was sought, and tho wandering wight was tuken along to tho police station.
