It is currently reported that, owing to tho disclosures bcroro tho Parliamentary Committee inci'iiriug into tlio contract between tho Murconi Wireless Telegraph Company and tho British Post Office, thero havo been dissensions in tho Cabinet, somo members of which aro asking tho Chancellor of tho Exchequer (Mv. Lloyd-George) end tho Attorney-General (Sir Rufiis Isaacs) to resign. CHANCELLOR'S SHAKE-BROKER, London, April 3. Mr. Sydney I)avey gave ©vidcnce before tho Marconi Committee that ha had acted as Mr. Lloyd-Gcorgo's stock-broker for many years. His client had novcr speculated. Mr. Lloyd-Georgo had informed witness's partner that lio had purchased American Marconi shares through- another channel as an investment. It was on tho advice of witness's firm that tho Chancellor sold a thousand shares. Mr. Lloyd-Georgo bad paid up to 7 per cent for tho accommodation.
