LIST OP AWARDS. Tlio Autumn show of the Jolmsonvillo Hurticult.tiral ami Industrial Society was opened yesferday, ;uul attracted a good attendance, both in Uio afternoon and evening. The patron of (lie socicty, the Hon. 1). IT. Rhodes, forwarded an apology for unavoidable absence. There was a good display of flowers, and entries in the other sections of the exhibition were, numerous. Tito noinls.prizes in Hie various classes were allocated as follow:— Hot. plants-Mr. W. Mildenhall. Cut blooms—'['lie Rev. E. H. Potric.i Mr. S. IJryant and Mr. T. V. 11. Edge (e([ual points). Farm produce—Mr. S. Bryant. Domcslio (preserves, jams, etc.)— Mrs. liodda. Industrial (sawing, fancywork, etc.)— Mrs. lietiiune. Emit—Mr. 11. .11. Harris. Children's section—Madge Bowler. The silver cup presented by Messrs. Baldwin and Co.. Wellington, for tho exhibitor of the champion cactus dahlia, was awarded to the Rev.' P. 11. Fotno, who is entitled to hold it for a year. To become the absolute property of an exhibitor. the cup has lo be won twice in succession or throe times at intervals. The show, will bo open to the public I this evening from 7 p.m. until 10.
