The President, Dr. AVoodrow Wilson, and Mr. Underwood, leader of the Democratic party, in tho House of Representatives, liavo conferred-on the wool tariff revision. ' The proposed fifteen per cent, tax was discussed, and it is understood that Dr. Wilson is favourable to it.
