Captain Amundsen plans to leave for the Arctic in June, 1914, and will attempt to drift northward across the Pole, Ho expects to find open water at the Polo during tho summer. Two hydroplanes will bs used for tho purpose of observation, and wbeless will be used to communicatewith tlie outside world. Captain .Amundsen is prejm-od to spend years in exploring work in the Arctic.
