4 _ . . j (By Telegraph — Prota Association.) I Gore, April 1. f The Australasian draughts champion-' sh>p tournament was continued this morning. The first game, Gardiner v. Ilillikcr, occupied four and a half hoursj, the Gore champion eventually winning, tiardiner adopted an original lino of play, getting info a position resembling Strickland's. Hillikpr put up 'a great fight when ono man down, but was compelled to retire. The fourth gamo resulted in n draw. Both players' aro now equal. Tho final round started to-night.
