* CRICKET. END OF THE SIGHT. FINAL FIXTURES. AN IMPORTANT PROPOSAL, The Management Committee of the Wellington Cricket Association met last night. Mr. M. F. Luckie presided. Notification that Wellington College ground would not bo available for cricket again this season was received. Petone wrote that' their senior team would ba unable to fulfil any further fixtures this season, because some of the eleven were about to commence football. The following futures were arranged:— April 5 and 12—Senior: North v. East A, Basin Reserve, No. 1 ground; Victoria College v. East B, Basin Reserve, No. 2 ground; South v. Hutt, at Lower Hutt. April 5 and 12—Junior: Victoria College v. St. Mark's,' Basin Reserve, No. 3; North v. Y.M.C.A., Basin Resene, No. 4; Central v. Ilutt, at Lower Hutt. April s—Third Class: Petone y. St. David's, at Petone; Brooklyn v. Ivarori, at Karori. April 12—Third Class: Brooklyn v. St. David's, at Petone; Karori v. Petonej at Kelbume. It was decided to inform the Wednesday Association that it would be impossible to arrange a match between the two city associations during the remainder of tho season. Mr. J. Fanning stated that he intended to have the following proposal put before the annual meeting of the association in September:— That ltulo 17 ba amended by tho addition of the following after the word "quorum" ;—"A general meeting of tho association, shall be held 011 tho third Friday in alternate months in each and every year, beginning with October, 1913 at such meetings the vice-presidents in rotation shall be asked to preside; and the business shall include consideration of inntters dealt with by -the managing conimittee since tho previous general meeting, together with the treasurer's statement." Mr. V. B. Willis signified his intention of seconding the motion.
