Tho annual general meeting of the Church of England Men's Society, Petone branch, was held last night. The Rev. G. B. Stephenson occupied the chair, and there was a fair attendance. The report and balance-sheet, which showed success, wero adopted. Officers for the ensuing year wero elected as follow:—President, Rev. G. B. Stephenson; secretary, Mr. 11. Walsh; committee, Messrs. Abrahall, Morgan, Rodgers, and Jenkins. It was resolved to study a set of books on social questions for the current year. The society will meet every month.
