Present indications tire for moderate easterly breezes northward of New Ply. • mouth, and Napier, and moderate to strong 'northeriies' elsewhere. Fair . weather probable' generally, hut rather unsettled in' the 'southernmost districts. The barometer has a falling tendency : in the south for a sauall'area probably passing southward of the Dominion. The barometer, rose everywhere on Saturday and Sunday, with, strong southerly winds, heavy showers, and colder' weather, but fine weather prevailed to-day, with variable, winds. , r ' , D. ,0. BATES.
