Tho police have received information that George Burgess, a bullock driver, committed-suicide at Wanstead yesterday by hanging himself in the Wallingford Bush. TWO MINERS KILLED. Thames, March 29. Two minors, William Hyde and Thomas M'Bryde, working in tho Talisman Mine, were killed last night through the rope of the skip breaking. Both were terribly crushed. CONTRACTOR BADLY INJURED. PEDESTRIAN STRUCK BY TRAM. Thos. Collins, a single man, who had been residing at 25 Holland Street, died in the Wellington Hospital yesterday at 11.15 a.m. The cause of dealth is supposed to have been an apoplectic fit.
