The Native Land Court is at present sitting in Otaki, and will probably 'continue till Tuesday next. .-A case that occupied some attention, and Which lasted for a couple of days, was that in which the Bevan family is concerned. Richard and William Bevan applied to have the will of their late mother proved. Mr. AVilford appeared for them, and Mr. Myers for Messrs. Robert, Thomas, and George Bevan, who are opposed. On resuming yesterday Mr. Myers asked for an adjournment, during which a settlement was arrived at. Mr. and Mrs. Horn, Mr.> and Mrs. Hogg, and Miss Hurley aro at present on a visit to Eotorua.
