Frank Lloyd, late manager of the ,Ctys■tal Palace Theatre, has been sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment for forging an order for tho purchase of 150,000 Shares in the Greater J. D. Williams Company, Ltd.
Judgo Backhouse declined to treat Lloyd as a first offender, but said he did not think Lloyd would serve the whole of his sentence. He added: "I lcnow-thal; in cases of this class tho actual punishment very often falls on innocent persotiS. It is that fact which iriitkes nie almost hate coming into this court."
