Captain Davis, of the Aurora, has ceived a.wiretess message from Antarctica from Dr. Mawson, hoping that oceano--graphical work will be continued during the coming winter, or at least that the Aurora frill arrive early next slimmer in order to undertake an extensive cruise after the relief of the main party at Commonwealth Bay. Professor David that funds will not permit of a winter Cruise. He is of meeting Dr. Mawson's , wishes regarding an early start.'
