WHITCOMBE- t TOMBS * LIMITED THE SHIFTING 1 ' SCENE In the course of a few days we will be back in our old premises which v/ere wrecked by a disastrous fire some ,months ago. A great deal of care has been devoted to the rebuilding operations, and,'./with the experience of the past to guide "life,'.'' we have schemed to have the new arrangem6hts of the departments as perfect as possible. Those who'have watched the work at the old premises will have noted that the plate glass has just been fixed in the bjg windows—this . is practically 'the finishing touch by the ■ workmen, the next move is ours. AND WHAT IT MEANS Moving is always a troublesome affait', and' to a concern like ours, under our present conditions, it is.an ordeal. The stock,.stationery, office fittings, plant, etc., in four separate places;, have to be moved and concentrated in the rebuilt premises, and, naturally, we want to have as little as possible to move to lighten the work for all concerned. That is why we have been holding the Shifting Sale, and that is why we urge you to make the most of the last few days. As we begin packing up for the move we find that thero are quite a number of items of stock that would be better cleared than, carted, and these we are practically giving away. The general stock, which may be visible from day to day, wo arc offering at a DISCOUNT of 20 per cent.
