Association is to be held on Friday, to consider tho question of providing a Wairarapa exhibit for the Auckland exhibition. ' An offer from the Wellington Acclimatisation Society to present two pairs ol mallard duck to the Masterton Park authorities has been accepted by the Borough Council. The society, in return, is seeking permission' to obtain a number t black swan from the Wairarapa Lake. A big demonstration is shortly to be held in the public park, in aid of the park beautifying funds. An effort is to DO made to secure the attendance for the occasion of a numbor of bluejackets of H.M.S. New Zealand. < The death occurred in the Mastertoi' Hospital last night of Mr. Hans Beck, who at one time followed farming pursuits in tho To Wharau district. The deceased was sixty-five years of ago.
