A big 1 gathering in the Town Hall, tho Lord Mayor presiding, welcomed Mr. Evelyn Wrench, organiser for tho Overseas Club. ■- ■ Mr. Wrench explained that the object of tho socioty was to draw together tho bond of comradeship of tho peoples living under tho folds-of the British flag. The organisation, was absolutely democratic.
