[Specially Written for The Dominion.] THURSDAY. Artichoke Soap. Boost Mutton. Baked lofcfttoes. Tomatoes nu Gratiu, , Cabbage. Apple Shape. Custard. ARTICHOKE SOUP. Two pounds artichokes, 1 quart (white) stock, 1 pint milk, 1 teaspoonful flour, H? z - sale. V/eigK tlic artichokes after they arc pealed and sliced* aiid put into tho cold stock. Boil till quito tender; rub through a sieve with a wooden spoon, return to the saucepan, add milk and nn_x tho flour and oiled butter together in a smooth paste. Stir into the stock, and bail for ten mimiles; add a little lemon juice, if liked. Servo with sippets of fried bread.
