Tim Allen Doonc Comedy Company continue to draw largo audiences to tlio Opera House, ivhero the Irish comedydrama, "The Wearing of the Green." furnishes plenty of fun and excitement for all who have the best regard for Ireland and the Irish. The play is alive with sentiment, erotic and patriotic, which, in Hie' hands nuil tongue of Mr. Allen Doonc, limlce very pretty .entertainment,. The supporting company is a capable one, and the comedy is capitally mounted and dressed. - TIIKATHr. IiOYAL. fullcr-Usenna 11 Company at tlio Theatre Koynl is once more brightened by the presence of the Crimson ltamblers (headed by that lhely comedian, Jlr. Bletsoe), who supply a very attractive first part. Other clever artists now appearing are the Dcntrines, who appear to be with jaws'of iron and teeth of steel, the Lyiitons, sketch,artists, Miss Louii: Duggan. a powerful mezzosoprano vocalist, the Marsdens, pliysioal culturists, the Esma Duo. This weelc's programme is distinctlv interesting and varied in character. HIS MAJESTY'S/ Tlio many people who went to His Majesty's Theatre last niglit were intensely interested in the picture story "The Secret, of the Safe." -The plot of the tale is a somewhat intricate and altogether absorbing one, and it is exceptionally well worked out for the kinematograph. Other pictures, not less interesting of their' k'jid, make up a remarkably fine programme. THE KING'S THEATEE. The splendid series of pictures showing at the King's Theatre attracted more crowds last night. Chief among the items of interes-t in the bill ,is tlio beau-tifiilly-tinted Pathe film 'Tor Love Is Life," but there were others in't equally good. Of the views of recent happenings, the pictures of the memorial service to Captain Scott gave an excellent view of an impressive spectacle. THE NEW THEATEE. The current programme of the New Theatre continuous pictures will be screened ior the last time' to-day and to-night. The leading "feature" is the Continental draniagrapli, "Nursing a Viper." The play is well staged und the acting carries conviction. Anothc-.' portrayal is the Lubin Company's masterpiece" drama, "The Mexican Spy," a pseudo-military production of tiie "spectacular" kind. Tin, new programme to-morrow will'be headed by a Cines drama, "Life for Life." , EMPEESS THEATEE. , The/ last opportunity is ottered to-day and- to-liight of witnessing the 'present programme at the Enlpress Theatre continuous pictures. . The main attraction is Seli'jf's sensational story "The Smouldering", Spark.?' • The hero is maltreated on board ship, but he suddenly turns upon Irs persecutors, and displays bravery and grit; which astonishes his enemies. Another fine' film is the A.B. sensational drama "The Misappropriated Turkey." In this subject .a dynamiter places'an infernal, machine inside a dressed turkey, which accidentally tails into the hands of some children. A grim tragedy is narrowly averted through the heroism of a saloon-keeper. There are a number of other acceptable pictures. To-morrow's change will include a sensational' modern A.B. drama, "Brink's Lure." > SHOETTS' THEATKIi. . "The Forger," a gorgeously-coloured uraina, now the "star" itoni at Shortts' Theatre, was .appreciated by patrons at yesterday's sessions. Another good drama was "The Toymaker," a film by 'he Vitagraph Company. Other items made the programme an enjoyable one. .
