MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.
The Easter season, in common with all holiday periods, has provided a very busy time > tor the missioner and workers at tile Seamen's Institute. Beginning with tlio Sunday before Easter, services have been held in tlio church each evening prior to the customary engagements. On three occasions tho choir rendered the "Story of the Cross," the solo portion being given by Mrs. Cocks. In addition to tlio missioner, Mr. W. E. Cocks, the liev. S, D. Burnett, and Mr. C. Burdekm assisted in the services. For-Easter Sunday tho church was decorated by lady workers, and a joyous note predominated iii the services, tlio men appreciating the singing of tho Easter hymns. Easter Monday turned out line, and the arrangements madeiby tho missioner were curried out. A crowd of over 70 seamen, accompanied by a party of lady workers, spent the day at Khandallali. The prizes won at tlio sports were presented by Mrs. Cocks.
