(Before Mr. W. G. Riddell. S.M.) In tho Magistrate's. Court yesterday Alfred Ronai pleaded guilty to a charge of his having failed to account to George Clark, storekeeper, Kliandallah, for .£5 3s. Hd., which Renal received on Clark a behalf. Chief-Dotsdtive Brobcrg said that Ronai had l been employed by Clark, and had got the money by collecting an account. Later ho had taken a job at Moawhango, near Tnihapo. Renai was convicted, and ordered to appear for sentonco when called on. He was required to malco restitution oil; tho rato of 15s. per week. . Eose Eraser, who was deemed to bo an idlo and disorderly person, was sentenced to three months' imprisonment.
